Running a guided BDYSession
A BDYSession arrives built. The exercises, their order, the target on each one and the rest between them are already set, so the only thing you decide while you train is what you actually manage.

Step 1. Find a session
The orange button above the tab bar opens the action menu from anywhere in the app. Tap Start BDYSession and the search opens with the exercises filtered out, so every row on it is a session.
The Workout tab gets there too. The BDYSessions tile opens the whole library, and Popular BDYSessions further down the tab carries the ones people finish most.
- Each row carries difficulty and how long it runs
- The body map on the right shows what it works
- Bookmarks keep the ones you come back to
Some sessions are paid. On the free plan they carry a lock where the body map sits, and tapping one opens the upgrade screen. Every other session opens with no membership.
Step 2. Read the plan before you commit
Tapping a row opens the session over the list. General holds the facts: difficulty, location, equipment, how long it runs and how many sets. Under that sit the muscles it works and every exercise in it, each one tappable.
Analytics is the other half: how many times you have finished this session and what you average on it. Start Workout takes it from here, and the calendar button beside it puts the session on a day instead.
Scheduling a session needs at least a Lite membership, and so does the progression chart on the Analytics tab. Opening a free session and starting it never does.
Step 3. Walk the session, then start it
Start Workout does not start anything. It hands you the session's own screen first: the picture, how long it takes, how many exercises, how many sets, then The session as one block per set.
Tap a set to open it. The exercises come in the order you will do them with the target beside each one, × 12 for reps and 45s for a hold. Tap an exercise to watch it before you commit. Start session at the bottom is what starts the clock.
- Every set runs the same exercises, in the same order
- The rest between them is the session's, not yours
- Nothing is logged until you start
Step 4. One exercise at a time
The session gives you one exercise, one target and one button. A rep target sits on the card as a number. A hold counts up instead, and the clock turns green the moment you pass the target, so you can watch it rather than count.
The handle at the bottom is the whole program. Collapsed it shows what is next and how far in you are. Pull it up and you get every exercise in every set: cleared ones checked green, the one you are on in orange, the rest waiting.
Quit session throws away everything logged in it, and the app says so before it does. A session you walk out of never reaches your history.
Step 5. Say what you actually did
Complete exercise does not tick a box. It asks. The sheet opens on the target with the ruler already sitting on it, and you drag it to whatever you managed.
Hit target snaps straight back to the plan for the times you did exactly that. Save commits the number and colours it as it lands: green on or over the target, amber close, orange short.
Step 6. Rest, then the next one
Save the outcome and the rest takes the whole screen. The level drains, the number counts down over it, and the last five seconds warm red.
-10s and +10s reshape this rest without pausing it. The button between them holds the level and lets it go again, and Skip rest ends it now. Up next carries the exercise coming, and tapping it plays the clip while you get your breath back.
Step 7. Finish, and read the score
On the last exercise the button reads Finish session. Logging that outcome opens the effort sheet: how hard it was, how you felt, anything you want written down.
Then the score. Performance score runs to 115 and splits in two. Execution is how much of the plan you did. Progression is how this session compares with your own history on those exercises, and it reads building baseline until an exercise has three logged sessions behind it.
- Exercises done, BDYCharge earned and time on the clock
- The breakdown opens on set 1, View more shows the rest
- Share writes the whole thing to a card
The breakdown, one scored row per exercise, needs at least Lite. The score itself, both halves of it and the three stats under the ring are on the free plan.
